Job Description:
A company is looking for a Peer Navigator (ETS) on a temporary
basis.
Key Responsibilities
Provide effective services for successful linkage and adherence to
healthcare, following a project curriculum and reporting
progress
Assist in conducting comprehensive assessments and service plans,
focusing on healthcare retention activities
Facilitate access to primary medical care and necessary services to
enhance clients' capacity to remain in healthcare
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Familiarity with the criminal justice system, either through
personal experience or work in a jail setting
Experience in recovery from drug and/or alcohol use disorder, or
familiarity through friends/family
Knowledge of HIV and PrEP services in the greater Atlanta area
Ability to communicate clearly in plain English to individuals with
varying education levels
Willingness to learn case management principles and community
resources
