Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal Underwriter - REMOTE.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluates utilization and financial experience of customers and
prospects, focusing on complex cases in the Health Plan
marketplace
Researches and analyzes pricing strategies in the PBM industry and
provides underwriting services to ensure profitability
Supports Sales and Client Engagement in client presentations and
negotiations related to pricing and performance guarantees
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, accounting, or related field, or
equivalent work experience; HS diploma or GED required
8 years of related work experience in Finance or Accounting,
including 3 years in the PBM industry
In-depth knowledge of mathematical applications used in
underwriting, including business mathematics and algebra
Ability to present information effectively to Senior and Executive
Leadership
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for
work visa or residency sponsorship
