A company is looking for a Software Engineer - Mainframe -
Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, implement, and support solutions for Life company
operations
Process accounting transactions and manage income tax and premium
tax reporting
Collaborate with business partners and maintain legacy systems
written in Assembler and Cobol
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Assembler and Cobol
Experience with JCL, DB2, and SAS
Familiarity with debugging tools like IBM Developer for z/OS
(IDz)
Knowledge of CI/CD practices and version control systems like
Git
Experience with GITLAB for managing code repositories
