Job Description:
A company is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to manage
patient service inquiries and support in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Answer inbound and outbound calls while documenting information
according to standard procedures
Process orders, verify insurance eligibility, and obtain necessary
pre-authorizations
Educate patients on their financial responsibilities and facilitate
resolution of customer complaints
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year of experience in a call center for healthcare
administrative, financial, or insurance services
Two years of work-related experience is required for senior-level
positions
Experience with Medicare certification is preferred
Proficiency in using multiple online EMR systems
