Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Case Manager Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 3 years of inpatient case management experience License: Active California license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have: Knowledge of HMO and Medicare for inpatient, home health, and skilled nursing facility settings. Epic experience is required. Description: This role requires a demonstrated background in case management within an inpatient setting. Candidates must have experience coordinating care and navigating insurance guidelines in various healthcare environments. Knowledge of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Current Procedural Terminology coding and billing, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act guidelines is essential. The ideal candidate understands Discharge Planning, Diagnosis Related Groups, and InterQual Criteria. Familiarity with National Committee for Quality Assurance standards and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations is beneficial. Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including social services, and ensure comprehensive patient care is critical. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float within their scope to meet facility needs.
