Travel Registered Nurse - NICU Embrace the rewarding challenge

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal
candidate will possess a strong background in infant care and
hospital medicine, demonstrating the ability to provide
high-quality care to our most vulnerable patients. This role
requires a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology, as
well as experience in administering injections and conducting
physical examinations. As a key member of our healthcare team, you
will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of infants in our
care. Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Assignment Length: 1
year Duties Provide comprehensive nursing care to infants in the
NICU, monitoring their health and development. Administer
medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to
safety standards. Conduct thorough physical examinations and
assessments of newborns, documenting findings accurately.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement
individualized care plans for each infant. Educate parents and
families on infant care practices, fostering a supportive
environment for their needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment
in accordance with hospital standards and protocols. Participate in
ongoing training and professional development to stay current with
best practices in neonatal nursing. Qualifications Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Strong
knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to neonatal care.
Comfortable with age range of Birth to 2 years. Experience
administering injections in a clinical setting. Familiarity with
hospital medicine practices and standards. Previous experience in
an Ambulatory Surgery Center or NICU is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the
ability to engage effectively with patients and families. Strong
organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accurate
documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations. Ability
to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while
