Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager, Underwriting to lead a team
of underwriters in reviewing small business financing
applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of underwriters to ensure high
performance and alignment with business goals
Ensure compliance with underwriting policies and guidelines while
addressing application-related concerns
Report on team performance and collaborate with leadership to
enhance department processes and guidelines
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of professional experience in underwriting (consumer,
small business, commercial)
2+ years of experience leading and managing an underwriting
team
In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles, financial analysis,
and regulatory requirements
Experience in leading and coaching a team to drive results
