niche experience in green roof construction , who can bring both
strategic oversight and hands-on leadership to a complex, high-end
build. You'll work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and
field teams to deliver excellence from preconstruction through
closeout. Whether you're coordinating logistics, managing budgets,
or driving innovation, this role offers the opportunity to shape
the future of sustainable infrastructure in one of the most vibrant
regions in the country. You'll be joining a team where your
expertise and attention to detail make a real impact. Your solid
background in complex construction projects, and specific
experience in green roof systems, including surface preparation,
waterproofing, coatings, and environmental compliance, will play a
pivotal role in delivering one of F.D. Thomas's most innovative and
sustainability-focused builds. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Lead
project planning and execution for a high-profile green roof
construction initiative, ensuring alignment with sustainability
goals and client expectations. Serve as the face of FD Thomas's
southern California division , representing the company in client
meetings, stakeholder engagements, and community interactions.
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle , from preconstruction
through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and
quality control. Coordinate cross-functional teams , including
architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel, to
ensure seamless project delivery. Oversee green roof system
installation , ensuring compliance with environmental standards,
waterproofing protocols, and structural requirements. Monitor
project performance , track milestones, and proactively address
risks, delays, or budget variances. Ensure compliance with local,
state, and federal regulations , including building codes,
environmental guidelines, and safety standards. Develop and
maintain strong client relationships , acting as the primary point
of contact throughout the project. Prepare and present progress
reports , forecasts, and documentation to internal leadership and
external stakeholders. Drive innovation and continuous improvement
, identifying opportunities to enhance project efficiency,

to be successful in this Project Manager role, you will possess the
following: Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil
Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 7-10 years
of project management experience in commercial or high-end
construction, with at least 3 years of direct experience managing
green roof or sustainable infrastructure projects . Proven ability
to lead complex, multi-phase construction projects from
preconstruction through closeout. Strong knowledge of green roof
systems, waterproofing, drainage, and environmentally responsible
building practices. Experience managing budgets exceeding $18M,
with a track record of delivering projects on time and within
scope. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the
ability to represent FD Thomas externally and lead cross-functional
teams. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore,
MS Project, Bluebeam) and construction documentation. Familiarity
with California building codes, environmental regulations, and
permitting processes. Ability to travel within Southern California
and work on-site as needed. PMP certification or equivalent is a

In addition to excellent benefits you will find we have a
competitive salary range of $150k - $170k depending on the
